Ruumara Privacy Policy

Ruumara is an app made by Code Works OOD ("we"). This page explains what data the app collects, why, and the choices you have. Ruumara has no accounts and asks for no personal details.

Your projects stay on your device

Everything you create in Ruumara — homes, rooms, measurements, furniture, notes, photos you attach and where you place your home on the map — is stored only on your device. We never receive it. It is included in your device's own iCloud or computer backup, which Apple handles under its own policy.

What the app collects

Crash reports. If the app crashes, or an operation you were shown fails, a report with the error, the device model and OS version is sent to Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix it.
Performance data. How long a few slow operations take, such as turning a scan into a plan, collected by Firebase Performance Monitoring.
Usage counts. Four fixed events — a room was scanned, a room was drawn by hand, a home was created, a plan was exported — each carrying only a number, such as how many walls a scan found. They are collected by Google Analytics for Firebase together with a random app-instance identifier and general device information (model, OS version, country, language). Google may derive an approximate location from your IP address.

None of this includes project or room names, notes, photos, measurements, map placement or anything else you type or create. Ruumara does not use the advertising identifier, does not track you across other apps, and does not show ads.

Camera, photos and maps

Camera. Used only while you scan a room. Scanning is processed on your device by Apple's RoomPlan; no camera images are sent anywhere.
Photos. Photos you choose to attach to a note are copied into the app's own storage on your device. Ruumara cannot see the rest of your library.
Maps. When you place your home on the map, the map area you view and any address you search for are sent to Apple Maps, as with any map. Ruumara never reads your device's location.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We receive only a confirmation that it was bought and never see payment details.

Who receives data

Google LLC, for Firebase Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring and Analytics (Google Privacy Policy).
Apple Inc., for Apple Maps and App Store purchases.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else.

Your choices

Turn off Share anonymous diagnostics in the app's Settings menu to stop crash reports, performance data and usage counts. Anything still queued is deleted.
Delete the app to remove everything it stored on your device.
Ask us what we hold about your app instance, or ask for it to be deleted, through the support form.

Children

Ruumara is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new date.
